What he brought back
He brought back a conviction that would shape his life’s work: that the body holds a profound, largely untapped capacity to regulate, recover and thrive. The answer, he found, was never in the symptoms alone. It was in the nervous system, your Master Regulator of how you move, think, sleep and adapt.
From that conviction he built the Diskin Life Premium Vitality Way, his Whole-Person, brain-based framework for physical, cognitive and emotional wellbeing. It is paired with a heart-centred presence that aims to leave people feeling genuinely seen, heard and met.
How he lives
Away from the Centre, the shape of his life has been remarkably steady. He has been married to Roselyn for forty years, partners in the business and partners in life, and they have a son they are enormously proud of, successful in his own right. They spend time outdoors in nature, and give time to supporting people and causes around them. Both are curious and inquisitive, and drawn to creativity and artistic expression. What he asks of clients he asks of himself: he lives the way he teaches: optimally, vitally, and with a good deal of gratitude.
Where he comes from
He was born in Melbourne and spent his early years in Eltham, back when it was still more bush than suburb, a 1960s childhood of creeks and dirt tracks, animals underfoot and long days outdoors, far closer to country life than to a city one.
He left Australia at ten and spent the next five years overseas, moving between countries, before settling in America at fifteen to study. He finished secondary school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and spent years on both American coasts before graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic at twenty-two, in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
Alongside it he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, the less obvious of the two qualifications, and the one that meant he could build something of his own, not only work in someone else’s. In those same years he completed his private pilot’s training, long since retired.
One pair of hands
Dr Ari is the only practitioner at the Centre: every client, every visit, in his hands. No part of your care is passed to anyone else: one standard, and a picture of your body that builds over time. Precision of this kind asks for continuity. The care here is boutique by design, bespoke to the person in front of him, and unhurried by choice. The team you meet at reception is what makes that possible.
Twenty-three years, unpaid
Alongside the care itself, he gave twenty-three consecutive years to the profession itself. From 1995 to 2018 he served the Chiropractors’ Association of Australia in one role after another: State Board Director, Media Spokesperson, Vice President, then President in Victoria, and later National Board Director and Chairperson of the Council of Representatives nationally. Every one of those roles was voluntary and unpaid, taken on for a plain reason: to help build and steer Chiropractic in Australia for the people who would practise it next. He holds no official position today, but he never really stepped away. He still consults, supports and offers input when he is asked.
Quietly, and by word of mouth
You will not find him on social media.
He keeps his personal life genuinely private, and has never seen a reason to trade that for visibility.
A name passed between friends can only tell you a person is worth seeing; it cannot explain how he thinks. That is what these pages are for. He would rather you arrive already understanding the reasoning, and decide for yourself whether it holds, than be persuaded of anything.
What Premium Vitality is made of
Chiropractors use dozens of techniques and methods, and Dr Ari trained in many of them across four decades. He studied well beyond the profession too, with people of great intellect, wisdom and integrity, in fields far from his own, and travelled far and wide to do it, including to remote communities whose understanding of health goes back centuries. Premium Vitality is what he drew together from all of it: not a technique taken off a shelf, but a synthesis shaped by everything he has learned, and by the people in front of him.
The name Premium Vitality is recent.
The work behind it is not.
Four decades on, he still finds the body’s own capacity to adapt and recover the most interesting thing in the room, and counts it a privilege to have spent a working life on it.
