Where are you, really?
Measured, not guessed.
Beyond what, and how, you feel.
Making the invisible visible.
The Diskin Life Assessment reads the system that runs you, your nervous system.
Careful baseline testing, plus seven extraordinary measures.
An empirical picture of how your body is really working.
In person, at our Fitzroy Centre.

Dr Ari on the Life Assessment
32 seconds · captions on
First, thorough.
Then, extraordinary.
The first of the seven is a conversation.
Dr Ari wants to know who you are, what your days look like, and what brought you here, unhurried, and in person.
Rapport comes first, human to human, because a number only means something once he understands the life it belongs to.
See what the examination involvesTap to readHide
It begins on paper, a confidential ten-page questionnaire.
Not a form to tick, but a deep dive into your history, your health, your work and relationships, and what you value most.
Because who you are today is the result of a lifetime of events.
We would rather meet you there, as a whole person, than at the surface of a symptom.
Then Dr Ari examines you himself.
Standard orthopaedic and neurological testing, and then his hands and his eyes.
Palpation: reading the tension held through your spine and body, and the patterns it has settled into.
Observation: how you move, how you hold yourself, where you compensate without noticing.
Strength testing, to see how your body is actually performing.
Much of what matters most is found by hand and by eye.

What the seven are reading.
Your nervous system is not one organ among others. It is a single communication network threaded through the whole of you, doing four jobs at once, every second of the day.
Sensory input
What arrives, touch, pressure, temperature, the position of every joint, and everything your senses gather.
Motor response
What goes out, movement, posture and muscle tone, and how you hold yourself without deciding to.
Autonomic regulation
What runs without you, heart rate, breathing, digestion, repair and immune response.
Higher function
What you make of it all, thought, mood, memory, attention, and the meaning you attach to it.
Seven ways of reading those four, rarely found together in one place:
- Whole-Person History
your whole story, physical, chemical & emotional, gathered through our confidential ten-page questionnaire, using a biopsychosocial approach (explained in our FAQs)
- Thermal Scanning
autonomic nervous-system reading
- Clinical HRV
standardised autonomic scan: your tracked baseline
- sEMG Analysis
muscular tension & spinal-load patterns
- Digital Posturography
balance & how the body organises under load
- Bioenergetic Recording
whole-field energy measurement
- Low-dose X-ray Imaging
direct digital: a structural view of the spine
Not every client has all seven measures,
Dr Ari determines which are appropriate for you.
Beyond what a watch can tell you.
A wearable estimates HRV in the background of a moving day.
Here it is a clinical assessment: settled, seated, standardised, repeatable.
And that standard runs through all seven.
Instruments you won’t find on a wrist, and Dr Ari reads them together: one picture of you, not seven numbers.
The research agrees.
In July 2026, a University College Dublin team (Eline de Jager, MSc; Professor Brian Caulfield, PhD; Evgenia Angelidi, MSc; Dr Sinéad Holden, PhD) reviewed 206 heart-rate-variability apps in JMIR Cardio.
Only 93 published enough about their method to be assessed.
Fewer than a third of those set standard conditions for taking a reading.
Without the conditions, a number can’t be trusted to show a change.
One measure of how deep this goes:
Dr Ari holds advanced-level Bio‑Well certification, the instrument behind our bioenergetic recording.
Your results, explained in person.
Dr Ari walks you through every finding in person, in plain language.
Your results become your baseline , the reference every future re‑assessment is measured against, shaping your care in Pulse 2.
So change is measured, not guessed.
And the numbers never stand alone.
Three readings are weighed together , and each carries real weight.
- What the testing shows
The Life Assessment’s empirical measures, careful baseline testing plus seven extraordinary ones, repeated over time.
- What you notice
Your own perception of your response, and what it means in the context of your values.
- What Dr Ari observes
His own reading of you, observed and recorded over time, visit by visit, interpreted through more than forty years of professional study and experience, and the wisdom gathered across 25,000+ people in his care.
