Environmental Sustainability
At Diskin Life your inner environment health (what happens in your body) is our number one priority. To this end, we are also aware of the impact the environment outside of your body has as a causal relationship to your overall health and well-being. We recently engaged the services of Australia’s leading Building Biologist to assess our inner building environment and make appropriate recommendations.
The following are excerpts of a 29 page Building Biology Report compiled for Diskin Life, conducted by Raphael Siket of Ecolibria July 2007.
Firstly, I would like to acknowledge Dr. Ari Diskin of Diskin Life, for his concern and care for the indoor environment at his centre, as well as the ecology of the planet as a whole. By introducing Building Biology concepts into the centre, Diskin Life has demonstrated a genuine concern for the well being of all clients, employees and visitors to the site.
Building Biology takes a close look at the relationship between people, buildings and the environment. Building Biologists endeavour to minimize and/or eliminate the potentially toxic effects of the thousands of chemicals to which we are exposed to everyday. They are present in our toiletries, cosmetics, cleaning products, food, water, building materials, furnishings and appliances. By implementing Building Biology principles, we can begin to restore the equilibrium between ourselves and our natural environment.
Ecolibria was asked to carry out a full Building Biology consultation (Geomancy, Air Quality, Water Quality, Chemical Usage, Lighting, Colours and Electromagnetic Field Exposure) on the Diskin Life premises in Fitzroy. This summarized report details what was discovered and what has been done to enhance the indoor environment of the centre and its impact on the natural environment as a whole.

I would like to compliment Dr. Ari Diskin on the concerted efforts he has made towards maintaining an optimum indoor environment at Diskin Life. Many new systems and changes have been introduced, and the enthusiasm with which this has been done is a credit to the centre and all associated with it. Always keep in mind how much you are benefiting your well-being as well as the environment as a whole with every change you have made. Water purity, air quality, chemical usage, electromagnetic radiation and the “energy of the site” have all been addressed at Diskin Life.
